Which energy grants exist in Luxembourg in 2026?
The Klimabonus programme covers most energy renovation support: solar PV, heat pumps, batteries, insulation, ventilation and EV charging.
Residential solar PV is capped at €10,000 with tapering rates per capacity band. Heat pump caps depend on technology and situation, up to €12,000 for geothermal replacing fossil heating.

What conditions apply?
Three recur: work carried out by an authorised company, minimum equipment performance, and filing within the deadline after invoicing.
Insulation requires a minimum thermal resistance; heat pumps are checked on performance coefficient and installation compliance.
A careful quote already states these values. If they are missing, ask before signing.
How do you claim a grant?
After the work, based on the paid invoice and technical certificates, plus proof of ownership or right of use.
Collect documents as you go: invoice, datasheets, before-and-after photos for insulation, electrical compliance certificate for solar.
