Frequently Asked Questions

Can I install solar panels on a flat roof?
Yes, panels can be installed on all roof types. For flat roofs, a ballast or mounting system with an optimal 10-15° tilt is used.
How long does it take to get a return on investment?
With Klimabonus subsidies and reduced VAT, the payback period is typically between 6 and 10 years.
Is the premium compatible with a home battery?
Yes, you can combine the PV premium with the home battery premium (up to €2,250 additional).
How long do solar panels last?
Modern solar panels have a minimum lifespan of 25-30 years with a 25-year performance warranty (80% of nominal power).
Do I need a building permit?
For standard rooftop installations, no building permit is required. Ground-mounted or large-area installations may need a permit.
What happens if I move?
The premium is tied to the building, not the owner. The panels stay and increase property value.
